Homemade

Long holiday make me quite boring, so then I decided to try some recipe and join them together... So, I specially cook a Japanese dish (well, I called them japanese food), which is consisted of Teriyaki chichken, fry egg, and onigiri (thanks to vvens) . Mr.Lim likes it, and me too! Maybe you can try it too! It's quite simple, cheap, and you just need to do some decoration, and here it is....

NTV7 Live Concert

Venue: Padang Timur Petaling Jaya

Me and MR.Lim went to a concert on Saturday, which was held by NTV7, in conjunction with their 10 year anniversary. It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed so much, as we are a big fans of most of the artist. But our feet were really pity and cold, as it was raining heavily in the afternoon, and so the ground was really wet, and this make our feet sink inside the water... I was lazy to watch the concert at first, as it was really wet and seriously i feel disgusting with the dirty situation, and i don't like my foot to be wet, but since we already there, so I just went on with the show, and I'm really great that I doesn't made me feel regret.

The concert was started with perfomance by on of the taiwan's legend artist--Chow Hua Jian (Emil Chow), and seriously I really feel that he still look the same as the first time I got to know him when I was 10! The moment the host call up his name, the crowded started 'high'. Then the perfomance were continued by Li Zhi Qing(local), Fan Wei Qi, Vingy, Cheng Lee Ming(local), Vingy, Daniel (local), Y2J, Mandhand(local), Desiree Tan(local), Jam Hsiao, JJ lin, Janice, Harlem Yu.

My favourite perfomance s by Y2J, and I think that not only me, the whole crowded were high and shout so loud when they sand the first song 'wei ni er huo'. I really adore them, and I love the voice of the girl singer. And ofcourse perfomance by Jam Hsiao is the one of the reason that make people come for the concert. But his duet with local singer, Desiree Tan was not really nice, as i think that Desiree's voice was not powerful, and was all covered up by Jam's voice. The weather was friendly since the beginning of the concert, but as soon as Janice mention about the rain, the rain was really fall down, and 1/4 of the crowded were left. But me and Mr.Lim decided to wait untill it finished, as we want to see perfomance by Harlem Yu. I think his songs' choice were expressing his feeling to the not-so-good situation of his marriage, and we were like feel so pity with him. Finally, the concert was closed by a 3 mins fireworks

I know it's too L.A.T.E and so outdated that I only watch MOONLIGHT RESONANCE now, but i still wanna say that it is a good show, and i really love the drama....

The acting was really good, makes you feel the concept of 'family' and i just love all the actors and actresses...

22-10-2008 = I am officialy 20 ....and it's really scared me...coz i'm gettin O-L-D-E-R....

I told my mom about this, and her response was "well, everyone would get old, and you're freak if you stay young forever".. 

That's true right? and Yes, truth is always hurt.

But anyway, I had a wonderful b'day although there is no surprise (as I requested, I beg my sis and Mr.lim abt this).

Thanks to Mok Yee Ling (Richele Mok), as the first person who wished me (send me msg at 21-10, 23:59), and all the people who whished me via sms, face-to-face, and friendster. Love ya all....

The Funniest Part

I admit that I don't really like surprise onmy b'day. Don't ask me why,coz I don't know the reason too. So, although I requested to my sis and Mr.Lim for no surprises, they plan 1 for me.

Mr.Lim secretly asked my sis to bought me a bday cake. So, after she finished her class at 1, she went to Sunway Pyramid to the cake. Me and Mr.Lim were at media hub doing my (bloody) PR assignment, when she called. Here is the conversation.

Sis: "where are you?"

Me: "college. why?"

Sis: "can you pls help me?"

Me:" why?what happened?"  (panic, cz i thought somethin happend to her)

Sis: "can you come to pyramid now?i'm here but i realized that i don't have money after i paid taxi, and i left mt ATM at home"

Me:"what are you doing there?I still doing assignment"

Sis:"I...aiya, you just come here. faster" 

Me:"OK, give me 20 mins"

Then, I told him abt this, and Mr.Lim volunteer to help me send money to her. I havent realize anything, but just feel confuse, coz ususally my sis never went shopping alone. So, I con't my work and we went to pyramid.

After that, my sis told me that SHE WAS MEANT TO BUY ME A BDAY CAKE, BUT SHE FORGOT TO BRING HER MONEY. So, It ended up by I BOUGHT MY OWN CAKE...hahahahahahha.....

Full House

We had a dinner at Niu Zhe Xui, Ara Damansara at nite. A new---FULL HOUSE...

We'd got a great experience from the restaurant. The concept of the restaurant is actually something like the Apartment, the curve. The owner made the whole restaurant looks like a h-o-m-e. There were bath room, closet, bed, garden, kitchen, balconi...

The food is nice...and the price is affordable...

One word to describe -----UNIQUE...

Still remember the movie "Ah Long"? The movie is just to "boom" to be forgoten by people who watched it. The movie just bring so much fun, and i knew that many people didnt mind spending their money to watched it for several times...and now the "fun" is seems to be continued in another movie...

TRIP review #part 1

I knew that it's been a decade long I didn't update my blog. And the only reason is simply because when you have so much things to share, you wont know where should you start. It's weird huh? But here I am now, trying hard to set the starting point.

Day 1: Pantai Pangandaran (Pangandaran Beach)
A rush in the dawn.
July 7, 4.30 am, I was awake after only few hours of sleep. And obviously my insomnia is caused by the trip which would begins in the next few hours. I'm a kind of person who couldn't sleep when I got too excited, and surprisingly, I would be more easy to fall a sleep when I'm stress. See how fancy is that! We were decided to left house at 6am, and my dad was promised to wake us on 5 am. But I couldn't wait until he knocked the door, on the lights and call our name one by one. I just can't wait! The whole family, including my 'kakak' were still dreaming I think. cz i hear no sound at all.

Finally, after some times, I heard someone doing something and made a noise, and I guesed it was my 'kakak' start doing her daily works. So, I get down from the bed, go to the bathroom, get changed, and eat breakfast. Still, nobody awaked. It was 5 something when dad and mom woke up. Almost 6 am, but the driver not shown up, and we were worried. We got enough experienced wherby our plan being canceled because of irresponsible driver. Thus, dad started making phone calling to find what's going on with the driver. And guess what? He said that he was still on the way from outstation with another client, but he promised that he will only be late for 30 minutes. Can you believe that? We were going to go to a place which needs at least 5 hours to reach, but the driver was not on time and obviously he wasn't went to bed the night before! That was too dangerous. My mom told dad to delay the trip untill tomorow morning. I was dissapointed, all us were dissapointed. But then, the driver did showed up 40 minutes later, and so, we left on 7am.

We arrived there!
Finally, after 5 hours of stucked in the car plus 1 hour of lunch, we arrived at the Pangandaran Beach.It's feel very great the moment you started seeing all coconut trees, then the sands, and finally the beach. It gaves you a feeling of relieves, and you would suddenly forgot all the tiredness of seating inside the car for so long hours. After making survey from hotel to another hotel, we prefer to stay in the same hotel that we used to staye last time. The reason is simply because it is located right infront of the beach, so every room has a perfect sea view. After check-in, we were decided to take a rest before play in the beach, because the sun was hot (as it was 2pm) and most of us had a same of feeling: we felt that we were still in the car, and all the things around us were moving around!


4pm, the sun almost goes down, me, my sisters and Mr.lim + dad went to the beach to enjoy the sunset. It was quite windy, the sky was a combination of blue, orange, yellow and red, it just so perfect. Few groups of villagers and the fisherman were teamed up begin to pull the large fishing net, we stood by the seashore and watch them doing it. Each time the wave meets the sands, I could feel the water on my foot, and then my feet, I just let it soak in the sand. When it was almost 5pm, the villagers and the fisheman started pulling the large fishing net (trawl net), and then most of the tourist inclusing us, started stood around them, feeling curious to see the fishes. After pulling it sometime, finally they done with it, and we could see the fishes! Most of them were small, like ikan bilis, only few were big and got few crab and even sea horses.

Day 2: Pantai Pangandaran (Pangandaran Beach)

Yesterday bacause we arrived quite late, so we couldn't enjoy the all the beach activities. So, today, in the second day, we planned to play from morning till nite. There were plenty of beach activities, such as diving, banana boat, and even surving. But unfortunately after the tsunami hit the area on 17 july 2006, an extensive damage was caused, hundreds of people were reported to be dead or missing and thus those activities were banned to prevent and protect the people. So, after the tsunami, only few activities remain.

Bicyle. To begin the day, I choosed to rent bicyle first. Because I didn't know how to ride a bicyle, so I choosed the bicyle which has 2 seats, and I called it "2-become-1-bicyle", so I can shared with others who knew how to ride it. It's not easy actualy, because you have to work co-orperately with your partner to achieve balance. And so, Mr.Lim could not do that, cz it was his first time riding that kind of bicyle, he was not used to it and he gave up. So, my dad replace him. And because we tried that before, so, it was very easy for us. One thing I like about Pangandaran Beach, is that the people are very friendly and kind. The owner of the bicyle rental allow us to choose which one we wanted to ride, then we can try them one by one, and seeing how hard we tried to ride it, he said that "you can just try to ride around the village, and if really cannot, just return to me and you don't need to pay"...see what i mean? So at last, we returned it and paid nothing.

Motorbike. Failed to play with the bicyle, we decided to play with the motorbike. The rental fee is RP 50.000 (+-RM 18)for one hour. But it was actually higher than normal day, cz it was high season, but we didnt wan to miss the fun.Riding along the seashore made me feels realy good, but its quite challenging as so many ppl there, and I had to make sure that I didn't "langgar" anybody. Basically its like driving an auto car.The motorbike that we rent is the medium size, so the capacity is 2 adult only.Feeling bored driving along the seashore, we drove it out and drove around the village.

Horse. Besides droving the motorbike, we chosed horse riding before lunch. I forgot how much it cost, but if its not mistaken the rental fee is RP 15.000 (+-RM 6.50). Actually it was also very fun riding the horse along the seashore with the guidance of the owner but I didnt ride cz I thought it was too hot (almost 12pm) as for Mr.Lim he did not want to do so because he said the horse is very pity if he did so(?????!!!!!)....

FINISHED. I think this is the only word to describe the end of my vacation at my hometown.
After expanding my holiday (for 10 more days) in Indonesia and finally going back soon to M'sia---16 July 2008....

Finally, after spending half of my 3 months holiday here (in M'sia), I could go home (Indonesia) soon (19 June 2008)!!!!

Actually, going home just a usual things, but this time would be more different as Im going home with a 'special' guest and also my big family member would held a BIG party for my eldest nephew's wedding...so,and because this is the first wedding party helded from my mommy side, all of my cousins, nephews, aunties and uncles from overseas would also be going back to Indo for this special moment...Thus I cant wait for the 'gathering'....................................
I'm coming Jakarta.............

These days...
What did I do for my holiday?Well, I kept asking myself this question...To be honest, actually I did nothing for the past few weeks. Since Mr.Lim was doing his part time job, I only lepaking at house and went out with my sis and frens sometimes...
And here is my monday-friday routine (more or less):
Woke up around 8.30pm, then yoga-ing / swimming, bath, lunch, onlining till evening, dinner, wtch 8tv( bcz this is the only best channel i could wtch on my tv), onlining a-g-a-i-n, and good nitez....
BUT there is and exception for wednesday and friday. Every Wednesday Mr.Lim is free after work and could spent times with me as his parents having dinner at outside. So, we'll go for gym and dinner together. As for Friday, we count it as an 'early weekends', so we also have dinner together and go for a movie....

And now I am so happy that these routines would changes as my 'real' holiday is coming.....

Prom Night: A Nite to Die For???!!!!

Have you ever been to a prom night? Supposedly, it's a night which full of joy and fun, a night that marked down the ending of a schooling times, and a night to be remembered in our life times. Everything should be perfect! the dress, make up, partner....But what if it's ruined by a bloody murderer?????????

I watched this movie last night, I thought it's gonna be coola and would be as scary as how the trailer told. ok, it's 78% cool and 55% scary, but the story just too straight and i don't feel any climax of it. hmm, but overall, it' ok la. Not really bad to be watched except that the prom really gonna make you jelous bcz they implied it as WOW as a MTV award...and you cant never imagine that the murder could be that psycho.....

Fitness for Everybody and Every Body!

2007, Fitness day 2

10am sharp, Saturday morning, I was putting my stuff inside the Fitness 1st locker, then after I locked the door, I went out to the work out area. It was my second day joining the fitness team, and never imagine that the club could be that packed on weekends. Teenagers, youngster, aunties, uncles , the overweight, the underweight and even few senior citizens were there. Some were running in the treadmill, sweating, some were joining the group exercise club and some were using other various fitness machine working out.

They are annoying!

Treadmill. That was the first thing I meant to do to begin my day. I walked and try to find the treadmill available. But all of them are occupied. Too bad! Didn't wanna waste my times, I do others exercise. While I was doing the exercise, I look around and found out some people there are skinny and they don't even has any FAT on their body!God! But they still running hard in the treadmill or riding the bicycle or doing push up and sit up. At that moment, I just think that they are annoying! They don't even need to work out, as they have perfect body but they are here just annoyed others who really need exercise (including me), as "we" cant use the machines because they were occupied by them. I dislike them, but I envy them for having such a body that I always dreamed of.

I am Wrong

The, I told Mr.Lim about what i think. And the response that he gave me awakes me and what he said was really true. He said that my way of thinking is really WRONG! Fitness/Exercises is not only for people who meant to lose weight. "How about me?" he said, "I am here not lose weight, but to gain weight", "plus, people need to work out not only when they want to gain/lose weight, but also to MAINTAIN their weight"
AHA! that's really true! I can't believe that my thought is too simple! We did exercise routinely when were in schools no matter we need it or not, but it just because its healthy!

Sad

Trust me,when people say you are fat, you'll get hurt. No matter you are skinny or overweight,youl'll get hurt when somebody says that to you. Seems that the word "F-A-T" is a nightmare for every single woman, especially in Asia. I was perfectly good with my weight before I was 12. Not sure with the reason, I put on so much weight after 12. It was quite late when I realize and define myslef as an overweight, becz it's a hard way to lose weight when you have too much fat on your body. I was depressed and feel pathetic of myself every time I look myslf in the mirror. Fat belly, big arms and I really look unbalanced. Because even though my leg and hips small, my upper parts looks bigger. It was really sad. Everyday I just think on how to lose weight and try lo decrease my eating habit. But I realized that, the more I think of dieting, the more I put on weight, and it just horrible!

Phat Girlz:It's not WRONG to be FAT

Then, the movie "Phat Girlz" motivated me. Trust me! for those people ho never watch this movie, you should watch it! It just awesome! The movie brings out the story of a phat girl, monique, who dreamed to be a designer and design clothes for big size woman. The most thing i like is when she made a statement of "When people says we are fat, its not our problem being that, because is they, who got a problem with our weight". Really! that is a very unique and shocking statement that I ever heard. And it's damn true! Think about this: when people say others fat, its because they set a mind of what is fat and what is skinny. So, they had a problem with the weight. Whereas actually big size people not always be unacceptable. Like in African country, body size reflect the social status of a person. The bigger the size, the richer she is/ he is. I love this movie; it just lets you know that you can "love the skin you're in" and not be ashamed of who you are. And it is a kind of inspiration movie for people to be confidence with who they are and work hard to achieve our own dreams.

It's not WRONG to be FAT, but it is UNHEALTHY

OK! so it is not wrong to has a big size, but it is really unhealthy as it caused many diseases. To lose weight, I've tried few pills that said could make u skinny, but all of them were just rubbish, it's only make you skinny for awhile and then doubled up your weight. And the worse part is that you lose weight not because you lose the fat, but they pills make you lose the water in your body. 1st day joining the FF, they check my body, and found out that actually I only got 30% of water in my body, whereas actually we need 60-70% of water in our body!

Therefore, after consult by the FF fitness trainer, I change my mind and my habit of living. Still not 100% healthy lifestyle, but I'm still working and continue to improving on it. And I loss some weight for sure. And the best way to do lose weight is do exercises, eat a balanced meal, and drink enough water. And never risk yourself of taking any diet pills! And recently YOGA is being intro of the new way of lose weight!

Kan Cheong Kitchen

All of us love to eat. A lots. All of us love to hunt for foods. Always. Being a customer of a mamak/ restaurant is easy. You go in, seated, read the menu, order, foods served, eat, pay bill, and leaved. It's just as simple as ABC. But IF ther's one day where all the restaurants in the world closed, all snacks and maggie mees are extincted, and ther's only one way to survive: COOK YOUR MEAL. What would you do? Would you cook? Or just give up? For some people "cooking" = "disaster", so they say "no to cooking". But for some people, "cooking" = "life", so they "love to cook"...

Anyway..I personaly thought that we have to learn how to cook, as it is a basic important skill that we have to had in our life! Really! And actually cooking is fun....

J-O-B

It's not easy to find a job.Really.I'm fresh graduate of Diploma in Communication who seeking for my very first JOB. When you still studying, you'll wish to finished your study as soon as possible and working. Me too. But until the moment I walked out from the examination hall, I realized that the feeling of graduated is not as good as I imagined of. Taking picture with colleagues and saying good bye to them is hard and painful.

But beyond all that, the most stressful things is finding job... and that's what I'm doing everyday right now. Wake up in the morning, take a bath, sitting infront of the comp and seeking job on jobstreet.com untill quite late. And every nite before I closed my eyes, I prayed that the next morining they will be an invite of an interview from any company that I applied to. The next day wake up, again, sit infront of the computer to check whether my resume had already viewed by the employer....

But thank's to the finder of internet, if there is no internet now, I think everything would be worst. Sending resume through post laju or maybe gp to company by company to ask for vacancy!Just like how the actor and actress in 70's movie. And I really feel great with jobstreet.com. I think that it is a really useful webiste for people who seek for a job. Thanks to Jobstreet.com!

Actually due to seeking for my very first job, I also din expected a high position and salary. All I just want is a job that suites my study background and personality and the most important thing is I can gained experienced form there. I dun mind working as receptionist or junior assistant...or some other simple thing that even SPM level can do. Coz I know that everything should be start from 0. We have learn how to walk before we could run!

I just went for 2 interviews today. The first one was introduced by my friends and also Jobstreet, the company seems good and the salary promised also fine. But it just don't match/suite my study background and incovenient working time for me. And it's in Mont Kiara, place that located at the another end from where I stay. The second interview was introduced by my college's teacher, only a part-timr job, and I think there is 80% possiblity the company will hired us (me and Mr.Lim), as they really need people who know mandarin urgently...Hope there would be a good news from them tommorow.

For all people who already working right now, I think that you should really appreciate and cherish the job that you have now... Coz today, in this complicated society, getting a job is not easy,...it's frustating!!!!!Any job for me?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, finished my diploma, now it's time for me to claim my H-O-L-I-D-A-Y!!!!!!.....been busy with assognments, exams and part-time work for the past half year,,,and now it's time for me to play till kao kao...hahaha...but quite stressful also actually, waiting for the result to come out and finding the right Uni for my degree....I like the UNISA course that Taylor's offer but the cost is quite expensive and I have to go Aussie sumemore....OMG! I really feel annoying..Any work for me???I rather work than think about this...hahahha.........................I n-e-e-d j-o-b.....
